Hafed comes out with more cattle feed products

Chandigarh, Sep 15 (UNI) With the commissioning of new ultra modern Cattle Feed Plant with increased capacity at Rohtak, Hafed has come out with special new products such as-Hafed Navjat Feed, Hafed Sarvshakti Feed, Hafed Pashudhan Feed, Hafed Sampuran Feed and Hafed Sareshth Feed for the benefit of dairy farmers.

Stating this here today, a Hafed spokesman said Hafed Navjat Feed was suitable for calves and Hafed Sarvshakti feed for post calving that is early lactation. Hafed Pashudhan Feed was a special feed for buffaloes.

Similarly, Hafed Sampuran Feed was suitable during last stage of pregnancy and Hafed Sreshth Feed was most suitable for high milk yielding animals, especially cross bred cows.

He said the formulation of newly introduced cattle feed would go a long way in addressing the problem of farmers and would increase productivity, lactation period, besides helping in solving the problems of repeat bleeding and reducing inter calving period, which would reduce the milk production cost and treatment cost.

He said the process adopted in the new plant would ensure uniform particle size grinding, homogenous mixing, uniform mixing of Molasses to avoid lumps, proper thermal conditioning for producing harmful bacteria free feed with more content of feed predigested proteins and more bio efficacy of feed.
