Two programmes by IGNOU to empower women

New Delhi, Sep 14 (UNI) Two advanced programmes for women studies and research that would help in planning development programmes for them, besides empowering them, would be introduced by IGNOU from January next year.

To further the M Phil and PhD programmes which would help empower the mission towards gender equality, IGNOU's Schools of Continuing of Education and Social Sciences today signed an MoU with the Centre for Women Development Studies.

The IGNOU certification while emboldening work for women development and reforms will also protect them gullible through its legal knowledge and technical training, according to IGNOU.
