Nagaland: Two NSCN cadres shot dead

Kohima, Sep 14: Three days after the reconciliation meeting at Dimapur, attended by all the underground groups to pave the way for realization of the covenant of common hope, unidentified gunmen shot dead two NSCN(K) cadres in Dimapur town yesterday.

Official sources said here today that police recovered a body of NSCN(K) activist near Delhi Public School with a bullet mark on his forehead.

Another body of a cadre of the same outfit was recovered near Chathe river who was shot on the back of his head.

Both the bodies were handed over to their relatives after completing the formalities, sources added.
