Two groups clash, 3 policemen wounded

Bhadohi, Sep 14 (UNI) At least three policemen sustained wounds in a clash between two groups of people during ''visarjan'' of Lord Ganesha's idol here today.

The incident took place, when some people threw colour at a place of worship, while taking out a procession on the ''visarjan'' of the Elephant's God idol, police said.

This created a furore among the people of other community and they started pelting stones and also vandalised a jeep. Three policemen were wounded in the incident.

Meanwhile, additional police force have been deployed on the spot for maintenance of peace.
