State to spend Rs 44 core for roads in Sirmour district
Nahan, Sep 14 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Forest Minister J P Nadda said that the government would spent Rs 44 crore for the consturction of roads in Sirmour district He was addressing a gathering at the district level, 'Bawan Dawadshi' fair at Sarahanabout yesterday evening.
He said that state government was trying its level best to spend maximum funds for the development of rural areas.
He said that drinking water facilities would be provided to each revenue village and hand pumps would be installed besides irrigation facilities would also be provided at a cost of Rs 28.35 crore.
He urged the residents of villagers to plant medicinal plants and under a scheme 92,468 saplings had been planted in Sirmour district.
He announced an amount of Rs five lakh for the construction of a stadium at Sarahan.
