Chhattisgarh: SPO commits suicide

Jagdalpur, Sep 14: A Special Police Officer (SPO), who was posted at Bhopalpattnam police station in Bijapur district, has died of self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said today.

Mormed village-resident SPO Vasam Ramesh (29) was in love with a local girl and was upset over her refusal to marry him. He shot at his chest from SLR rifle last evening.
