Hurriyat chairman condemns Delhi blasts
Srinagar, Sep 14 (UNI) Chairman of the moderate Hurriyat Conference (HC) Mirwaiz Moulvi Omar Farooq today strongly condemned the serial blasts in Delhi that left 21 people dead and over 100 injured yesterday.
Mirwaiz Omar, still under house arrest, said the people of the Kashmir valley strongly condemned such inhuman acts.
''We reject terrorism,'' Mirwaiz said adding ''no religion approves this madness.'' He also condemned the desecration of the holy shrine of Peer Dastagir sahib at Saraibala yesterday.
He declared that such attacks would not be tolerated and added that authorities instead of trying to resolve issues are indulging in such acts which add fuel to the fire.
