Haryana minister urges to develop Hindi language
Chandigarh, Sep 14 (UNI) Haryana Education Minister Mange Ram Gupta today said that Hindi should be promoted on large scale, as its promotion will lead to the development of the countrys culture.
This was stated by Mr Gupta while addressing a state level Hindi Day function organised at Kurukshetra by Haryana Sahitya Akademi today.
He regretted that Hindi had not been fully developed even after it being declared as national language on September 14, 1949.
'Hindi Day' should not be observed merely as a formality, rather stress should be laid on its development and its use, he stated.
