E Ahmad elected national President of IUML
New Delhi, Sep 14 (UNI) Minister of State for External Affairs E Ahmad was today elected as national president of the Indian Union Muslim League.
The election was necessitated due to death of G M Banatwala.
The National Executive Committeee of IUML, which met here, elected Mr Kadar Mohiyudeen as General Secretary.
Mr Ahmad Baksh and Mr Iqbal Ahmad have been elected as the Vice Presidents while Mr Dastgheer Aga as treasurer. The National Eexecutive also elected five secretaries which are Mr Nayeem Akhtar, Mr Ismail Banatwala, Mr Abdul Samad Samdani, Mr Korum Aniz Omar and Mr Shahanshah Jahangir.
