Bose urges people to support Govt rehabilitation project for Singur
Kolkata, Sep 14 (UNI) Left Front Chairman Biman Bose today said the West Bengal Government's rehabilitation package at Singur would be beneficial for farmers, bargadars as well as for local residents.
The package, which was offered through advertisement in all news papers today, will also be instrumental towards creating prompt employment. The state government initiatives derserved commendation, Mr Bose said in a statement.
He said the government had also displayed patience, perseverance and leniency during talks. Now the rehabilitation package needed to be implemented for a quick implementation of Tata Motors small-car project for the benefit of the state and the young generation, Mr Bose said.
He also urged the people to extend their copporetion for the fulfilment of the project.
"The small-car unit needs to be operationalised for the benefit of the state and its people. In this regard, a large fraction of the landowners had shown their cooperation", he added.
