Mah: Now Shiv Sena aims at officer Prasad
Mumbai, Sep 13: After Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) president Raj Thackeray hit out at Joint Police Commissioner K L Prasad for his reported statement that ''Mumbai does not belong to anybody's father'', it was now the turn of Shiv Sena to train its gun on the IPS officer.
In an editorial, 'Maharashtrachi bhoomi konachi?' (Maharashtra is whose land?) in the party's mouthpiece 'Saamna', Sena chief Bal Thackeray wrote in the same tone as that of his estranged nephew about the IPS officer.
''Nobody should hurt pride of Maharashtrians, otherwise, it will boomrang,'' warned the Sena chief.
''Maharashtra is the land of saints and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj -- everybody should remember it,'' he added.
