Punjab CM condemns bomb blasts in Delhi

Chandigarh, Sep 13 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Sngh Badal today described the serial blasts in Delhi as a handiwork of '' cowards and anti-national elements''.

In a statement here, Mr Badal asked the people across the country to be united in their response to any challenge to peace and stability in the country. He also appealed to the people to exercise restraint and not walk into the trap of those who wanted to provoke people in to destroy the hard earned peace and amity in the country.

He said that no ideology or faith was larger than the creed of universal love, peae and human brotherhood. He conveyed his sympathies to the members of the bereaved families and offered assistance to those injured.

''The people of Punjab shall stand in solidarity with forces of communal harmony and peace and progress, and shall stand up against any attack on our people and country,'' he said.
