TN: Mass cleaning campaign at temples

Srirangam(Tamil Nadu) Sep 13: Hundreds of NSS volunteers of the National College undertook a mass cleaning campaign at the sprawling Sri Rangnathaswamy Temple on Saturday, Sep 13.

Inaugurating the campaign, District Collector T Soundiah said a mass cleaning campaign would begin in Tiruchirapalli during this month.

As part of the proposed campaign, the volunteers of the NSS commenced their job at the famous temple here.

Over 3,000 volunteers of the NCC and NSS will undertake a similar campgain all over the city on September 28, he added.
