Forum gives strike call for bank staff

Chennai, Sep 13 (UNI) The United Forum of Bank Unions has given a call for All India Strike on September 24 and 25 in support of its various demands.

In a release here today, Forum Convenor C H Venkatachalam said the strike was in support of its demands including non-privatisation of banks, rejecting the recommendations of the Raghuram Rajan Committee and Anwarul Hoda Committee and stopping merger of public sector banks.
