Badal to explain Amarinder's expulsion to Patiala residents

Patiala, Sep 13 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal will hold 'Sangat Darshan' in Patiala, the hometown of his predecessor Capt Amarinder Singh, who was expelled from the Vidhan Sabha following his indictment in a land scam case probed by a House Committee.

The Chief Minister will visit all 50 wards of Patiala Municipal Corporation during his 'sangat darshan' programme commencing tomorrow.

An official spokesman said here that in first phase he will hold ' Sangat Darshan in ward No 1 to 10 to explain to the residents of the town the reasons behind the expulsion of Capt Singh, who was elected to the Assembly from Patiala city constituency.

Capt Singh had recently held a Congress rally in Lambi, the Assembly constituency of the Chief Minister.
