New Delhi, Sep 13: A witness has come up to reveal about the BMW accident case. Om Veer, a call centre cab driver, was changing the tyres of the Tavera car he was driving at a petrol pump near Moolchand Hospital. "I heard a loud noise and rushed towards the sound. A BMW car had hit two men on motorcycle. The driver didnot even bother to help the two bleeding motorcyclists," says Om Veer.

“It was 2.30 am on Thursday. I was changing the tyres of my car. I heard a loud thud. I saw a couple coming out of a BMW car that had hit a pavement after hitting a motorcycle. The couple came out of the car after breaking open the windowpanes. A Honda City car also stopped behind their car and the girl got inside the second car. As I rushed to see what had happened, the driver of the BMW went to see the two men who were lying on the road. I shouted at him, 'aapne to inhe maar diya" (You have killed them). He asked me if they were dead. Then, without a second glance, he got into the Honda City and they left the scene. A call was then made to the Police Control Room and the two men were rushed to hospital. By that time the man who was riding pillion had lost lots of blood. I saw that a portion of his T-shirt was caught in the rear view mirror of the BMW," narrates Om Veer.

The main accused, Utsav Bhasin will now be charged under Indian Penal Code (IPC) section 304 (A), causing death due to rash and negligent driving, a bailable offence and can get him a maximum punishment upto two years.
