Srinagar, Sept 12 : Thousands of protesters led by Muhammad Yasin Malik chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), clashed with police in Srinagar on Friday.

With posters of Malik in their hands, protesters shouted slogans against the Government.

Malik, who was leading a sit-in protest of about 4000 people after the Friday prayers was injured during the clash between the protesters and the police.
Malik, who reportedly had received a baton blow on his legs, was rushed to hospital for treatment.
