JK: Two LeT militants killed in Kupwara

Srinagar, Sep 12: Security forces killed two militants of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) in the frontier district of Kupwara, official sources said on Friday, Sep 12.
They said a search operation was launched at village Chuntimarg in Kupwara following a tip-off about the presence of militants there.

During the operation, an encounter ensued after militants opened fire on security forces. The fire was returned and in the fierce clash, two LeT militants were killed. Two AK rifles and other arms and ammunition were recovered from the slain militants, they said.
