Sun Pharma gets USFDA nod for Fosamax tablets
New Delhi, Sep 12 (UNI) Sun Pharmaceutical Industries today said it has received US Food and Drug Administration's approval to market Fosamax tablets, which are used for treating osteoporosis.
Fosamax, the generic version of Merck&Co, are alendronate sodium tablets having an annual sales of about 560 million dollars in the United States, the company said in a statement.
The pharma company said the drug would reach the US market shortly.
