Seminar on Media's Social Responsibility at Goa University
Panaji, Sep 11 (UNI) The UGC Centre for Latin American and International Studies of the Goa University will organise a seminar on ''Media and Social Responsibility in the Era of Globalisation'' at the campus on September 13.
Commissioner for NRI affairs, Government of Goa and former external affairs minister Eduardo Falerio will be the chief guest, while vice chancellor of the University Dr Dilip Deobagkar will preside over the inaugural session.
This will be followed by a debate on the subject, with experts from a cross section of the society, including senior journalists belonging to different media units.
There would be a round table discussion, presided over by former union minister Ramakant Khalap, on the subject with academicians and others sharing their views in the afternoon.
