Kidney scam case adjourned to Oct 20

Ambala, Sep 12 (UNI) The special CBI court today adjourned the hearing in the kidney scam case till October 20.

The case would be taken up for arguments on charges framed against the accused.

Nine accused including the scam kingpin Dr Amit Kumar were present in the court.

The court also fixed September 30 to consider the bail applications filed by the accused Sarj, Manoj, Jagdish and Giasuddin. Since the lawyers didn't attend the court due to a strike, the court announced the fresh dates without going in for any proceedings in the case.
