According to release issued today, the police nabbed Suleman(38), Arif(19) and Abid(21), all residents of Sunder Nagari, yesterday.

SI, Rajiv Rana, along with ASI Anand Prakash and others, was conducting a vehicle check near Old Thana Road, Krishna Nagar, at 2005 hrs, when they noticed three people coming from Bhikam Singh Colony. As soon as the trio saw the police, they hesitated a bit.

It also said all the three were booked under the Arms Act and an FIR was lodged against them.

Interrogation revealed that the trio had committed several crimes, such as snatching chains and motorcycles, in the past four-five months.

Seleman, a petty scrap dealer; Arif, a mobile repair mechanic; and abid, a fruit seller used to move on a black motorcycle with fake nunber plates or without a number plate, carrying arms so as to threaten people, in case of resistence and carried chilly powder in their pockets, if needed.
