22 TDA coming up under PM's reconstruction programme in J
Srinagar, Sep 12 (UNI) Under the Prime Minister's Reconstruction Programme, 22 Tourism Development Authorities (TDAs) covering almost all tourist destinations in Jammu and Kashmir have been provided Rs 120 crore each for building infrastructure.
Presently, 36 projects with 206 schemes are under execution at a cost of Rs 97.77 crore, an official spokesman said, adding so far Rs 29.54 crore have been spent on these schemes.
He said under the programme reconstruction of Pahalgam Club is going on at Rs seven crore, on which Rs three crore have so far been spent.
Rs 12 crore are being expanded for construction of TRC complex at Nowgam, on which Rs two crore have been spent so far.
Yatri Niwas at Bhagwati Nagar Jammu has been completed at a cost of Rs 6.50 crore while as work on Food Craft Institute Jammu is going apace at Rs 4.72 crore.
He said Eco park at Baramulla and Zabarwan park at Srinagar have been completed costing Rs 4 crore and Rs 3.50 crore respectively.
