TCS partners with Swedish aerospace company
New Delhi, Sep 11 (UNI) Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), the country's largest software exporter, today said it has partnered with Swedish aerospace and defence company Saab AB to set up its local Aeronautical Design and Development Centre (ADDC).
The Centre in India will offer defence and civil aeronautical services, including systems for new platforms, performance studies, virtual prototyping and aircraft sustenance engineering, the company said in a statement.
''This partnership has a blend of Saab's technology solutions and TCS's global engineering model to address the growing opportunities in the aerospace and defence sector,''said chief executive officer of TCS, S Ramadorai.
However no financial details were disclosed.
