RBI fixes reference rate 32 paise higher at Rs 45.44 per USD
Mumbai, Sep 11 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today fixed the reference rate for US dollar at Rs 45.44 per unit, up by 32 paise, against the previous day's rate of Rs 45.12 per dollar.
The reference rate for Euro, was down by 35 paise at Rs 63.48 per unit, from the previous close of Rs 63.83 per unit, an RBI release stated.
The exchange rates for Pound and Japanese Yen against the Rupee were quoted at Rs 79.6222 (Rs 79.6075) per Pound and Rs 42.30 (42.02) per 100 units of Yen.
