NTPC forms JV for 1,980 MW power plant in Bihar
New Delhi, Sep 11 (UNI) State-owned National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) today said it has formed a joint venture (JV) company with Bihar State Electricity Board for setting up a 1,980 MW coal-based power project.
The JV , under the name Nabinagar Power Generating Company Pvt Ltd, will be formed and have a capacity of 1980 MW (3 X 660 MW), a statement said here.
The operation and maintenance of the project will be in district Aurangabad of Bihar, it added.
