Natural Capsules to purchase equipment from Canada's Qualicaps

New Delhi, Sep 11 (UNI) Natural Capsules Ltd today said it has entered into a contract with Pharmaphil Division of Canadian firm Qualicaps Inc to purchase hard capsule manufacturing equipment to be used at its Pondicherry plant.

The purchase price of the equipment is 1,058,000 dollars and includes costs of dismantling, packing and shipping CIF to the Chennai Port, India.

The delivery of the equipment will be made within 12 weeks and is expected to arrive in India within 18 weeks, the Bangalore- based company said in a statement.

This expansion of manufacturing capacity will lead to increase in installed capacity for Hard Gelatin Capsules from 3,600 million capsules PA to 7,380 million capsules PA.
