Militants chop off man's nose in Doda
Jammu, Sep 11 (UNI) In a shocking incident, unidentified militants chopped off the nose of a person in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, police sources here today said.
''Unidentified militants kidnapped one Manzoor Ahmad, 45, resident of Shingnari, who had gone for some domestic work to his sister's house in the Kaka Hill area, Bhata Dessa,'' the sources told UNI.
After kidnapping him, the militants beat him and later chopped off his nose and fired in air.
Police party from Dessa Police Station rushed to the spot and immediately shifted him to the District Hospital Doda.
Meanwhile, a search operation was launched and a case under sections 458, 325 RPC against FIR No 10/08 had been registered.
