LG Electronics donates Rs 1.5 Cr to Bihar Chief Minister Relief Fund

Patna, Sept 11 (UNI)Country's leading manufacturer of Home appliances 'LG Electronics India Limited' today donated Rs 1.5 crore to Bihar Chief minister Nitish Kumar for the flood affected people of the state.

The donation cheque was presented to the chief minister by LG Electronics India, Managing Director Moon B Shin at a simple function at the Chief minister's residence here.

Later speaking to newsmen Mr Shin said ''as a responsible corporate house in the country,it becomes extremely improtant for us to come forward in such times of calamity and be of help to our fellow beings''.

'' The state and its people have incurred immeasurable losses and it's time that all of us join hands to combat this crisis '', Mr Shin said adding ''LG's commitment towards enriching human lives does not end with this small gesture and we hope to be of more help to the flood victims''.

LG Electronics India, Business Group Head, Amitabh Tiwari was also present.
