IAF officer's wife found murdered with multiple stab wounds

New Delhi, Sep 11 (UNI) The wife of an Air Force official was found murdered, with multiple stab injuries, under mysterious circumstances at their Malviya Nagar residence in South Delhi this morning.

According to the police, Rekha Kuntia (32) was found lying in a pool of blood with multiple stab injuries by their servant Aman at her 2nd floor Lado Sarai residence at about 0930 hrs.

Aman (18), who had returned after buying vegetables from the market, immediately called his employer and Rekha's husband Pranav Kuntaia, who is Sergeant with the IAF.

She was rushed to the AIIMS, but died on the way. Doctors pronounced her 'brought dead'.

Married four years back, the couple have a two-and-a-half-year-old mentally challenged son and were living at the present address for the past four years.

Their servant Aman had also joined them during the same time.

Police has ruled out robbery or theft as the murder and said entry to the house was friendly and no robbery or ransacking has been reported, adding that the servant has been picked for questioning but the incident in being probed from all angles.
