Groundnutseed, its oil and RBD Palmolein prices decline

Mumbai, Sep 11 (UNI) Prices of groundnutseed, its oil and RBD Palmolein today fell on lack of fresh demand from stockists in the face of larger stock arrivals from producing centres like Gujarat, Andhra and some northern centres, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

Prices of key seeds (per quintal) like groundnut and castorseed Disa declined by Rs 50 per quintal each on lower buying support.

Javas 60/70 and Javas 70/80 also came down by Rs 50 and Rs 40 per quintal respectively.

Castorseed Hyderabad was down by Rs 75 per quintal on sustained heavy selling pressure by bulk conusmers, traders said.

Edible oils (per ten kg), such as groundnut raw, refined palmolein moved down by Rs 10 and Rs 15 per ten kg respectively.

Soyabean ref and rapeseed ref slid by Rs 5 and Rs 8 per ten kg respectively on poor buying from bulk consumers and larger stocks.

In de-oiled cakes, groundnut extra and rapeseed extr fell by Rs 100 and Rs 150 per metric tonne respectively.

Rest, de oiled cakes remained flat on moderate demand, traders added.
