Court issues bailable arrest warrants against Tytler
Ludhiana, Sep 11 (UNI) A local court today issued bailable arrest warrants against senior Congress leader and former Union Minister Jagdish Tytler in a defamation case.
Judicial Magistrate first class KK Bansal issued the warrants after Tytler failed to appear in the court today in the defamation case filed against him by a Delhi-based lawyer Harwinder Singh Phulka.
The petitioner, Mr Phulka, had filed the defamation case against the Congress MP for his alleged statement against the Sikh religion in a TV programme.
The court has fixed the next date of hearing for November 28.
