Beyonce Knowles is proud of Barack Obama's run for President

Washington, September 11 : Pledging her support for Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama once again, singer Beyonce Knowles has said that she is proud to see a black nominee in the race for the White House.

The 'Crazy In Love' hitmaker has already evinced his support for Obama at an earlier occasion by wearing a t-shirt emblazoned with a picture of the Democrat's face.

And now, she has clearly stated that she will be backing the Illinois senator in the November elections.

She has also revealed that she praises Obama for inspiring a whole generation of young voters.

"I'm really proud. I think we're making a lot of progress. It's an exciting time for my generation, regardless of whether you're African-American or not. The level of excitement, I've never seen anything like it. We all feel part of our country now," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
