Airtel to start operations in Island Nation by year end

New Delhi, Sept 11 (UNI) Bharti Airtel today said it expects to start its operation in Sri Lanka by the end of this calendar year.

''We are in discussion with the government and the operators and we hope to launch the service by the end of the calendar year,'' Bharti Airtel CEO and Joint Managing Director, Manoj Kohli said while talking to reporters in the capital.
