The word 'loafer' tatooed on jail inmates back

Amritsar, Sep 10 (UNI) An inmate of Amritsar Central Jail today alleged that two doctors of the prison hospital got the word 'loafer' tatooed on his back.

The inmate, Ashwani Kumar lifted his shirt to show the word to mediapersons on his back at the judicial court complex here. He was was brought to the court complex in connection with the hearing in a case.

The jail authorities when contacted said that an inquiry had been ordered into the incident and thereafter a case would be registered.

Ashwani Kumar is facing trial under the NDPS Act and in other cases related to possession of fake currency and killing of one person in an accident.
