TCS, Saab join hands to set up ADDC

Kolkata, Sep 10 (UNI)Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), a leading global IT services, business solutions and outsourcing firm, today announced its tie-up with Saab for setting up Aeronautical Design and Development Centre (ADDC) in the country.

Informing this, a TCS communique said the ADDC would create a single source of design and development capabilities within India, in a bid to address the domestic and global defense as well as civil aeronautical applications.

TCS Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director S Ramadorai said the partnership had a strong blend of Saab's technology solutions and TCS global engineering model to address the growing opportunities in the aerospace and defense sector.

Saab serves the global market with world-leading products, services and solutions ranging from military defense to civil security, according to the communique.
