SHO, 2 others sent to 14-day judicial custody

New Delhi, Sep 10 (UNI) Special Judge A S Yadav today sent till September 24 Sarita Vihar Station House Officer (SHO) Rajinder Singh and his two subordinates to judicial custody in a bribery case.

Head constable Ram Dayal was caught red-handed accepting a bribe of Rs 2500 from complainant Shopal Singh.

Singh's brother-in-law was caught cutting a tree by Dayal, and he had demanded Rs 10,000 for not registering a case against him. On the basis Dayal's statement, SHO and Constable Dulichand were later arrested by Anti-Corruption Bureau(ACB) of Delhi Police on corruption charges yesterday.
