Pinnacle Systems launches video editing software

New Delhi, Sept 10 (UNI) Targeting the increasing number of video enthusiasts, Pinnacle Systems today launched its video editing software-- Pinnacle Studio Version 12-- in India.

''The software has been developed keeping in mind the new technologies of High Definition (HD) that are making its way into India,'' Pinnacle India Country Manager Ashish Bakshi told reporters here.

The software, which was launched globally in June, will be available in stores by the end of this month. It will come in three variants--the basic version, Studio Plus and Studio Ultimate.

Though the price has not been decided yet, the products are expected to be in the range of Rs 3,500-8,000.

Pinnacle Systems is the consumer division of Avid Technology.

The software comes equipped with a tool for direct uploading of videos on YouTube, advanced Blu-ray disc writing capability, allows multi-track editing, more import formats like PSD and GIF, new export options like MP3, WAV, Flash Video, and 3GP for mobile phones.

The software when available with Hardware Solution Events Pro Deluxe is priced at Rs 17,900 and Rs 19,900 for internal and external respectively and a microphone and green sheet will be made available as well.

Existing users can upgrade to the new version for Rs 2,000-4,000.
