Notorious rowdy-sheeter held in AP

Hyderabad, Sep 10 (UNI) City police today apprehended close associate of notorious rowdy-sheeter Ayub Khan and seized a sword, two-wheeler, six mobile phones and property documents from him.

According to a police release, Fazaluddin and Ayub Khan intervened in land disputes making huge sums of money in the process.

Fazaluddin was involved in as many as nine cases. In August 2000, he had brutally murdered his partner Sanjay Agarwal by burning him alive over a partnership dispute leading to his arrest and subsequent conviction in the case. However, the Andhra Pradesh High court acquitted him of the charges.

In June 2005, Fazaluddin and Ayub Khan along with their associates murdered one Kanda Chand and buried the body in the hills.

They were also involved in an attack on the Task Force Police when they tried to arrest Ayub Khan, the release added.
