Motorola eyes $20-30 mln revenue by 2013 from 3 airport contracts

New Delhi, Sept 10 (UNI) Motorola Inc today said it expects revenues to the tune of 20-30 million dollars over the next five years from the three contracts it has won for providing digital radio communication network to the Delhi, Bangalore and Hyderabad airports.

''We have won three contracts from the Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL), Bangalore International Airport Ltd and GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd. These will fetch us revenues of 20-30 million dollars over the next five years,'' Motorola India Sales Director and Country Head (Government and Public Safety) Subodh Vardhan told reporters here.

Under the contract, Motorola will supply scalable Dimetra IP-based mission critical networks to the new airports in Bangalore and Hyderabad and replace the existing analogue radio network in the domestic and international airport at Delhi, he added.

The company has already deployed the system at Bangalore and Hyderabad and expects work to be completed in the next few weeks at the Delhi airport as well, Mr Vardhan said.
