Low pressure forms over West Central Bay

Visakhapatnam, Sep 10 (UNI) A low pressure has formed over west central and adjoining northwest bay off the north Andhra south Orissa coast.

According to the Cyclone Warning Centre (CWC) here, rain or thundershowers are likely to occur in coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 48 hours.

Isolated heavy rain are likely over coastal Andhra Pradesh during the same period.

Strong surface winds from westerly direction with speed reaching 45 to 55 kmph were likely along and off south coastal Andhra Pradesh and from northwesterly direction along and off north coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 24 hours, the CWC added.
