Hyundai Motors to raise its dealership to 300 by year-end
New Delhi, Sept 10 (UNI) Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hyundai Motor Company, today said it will increase the number of dealers in the country to 300 from 230 by year-end.
''We will increase our dealership in the country from the present 230 to 300 by the end of this year, HMIL Managing Director H S Lheem told reporters here.
The company is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its operations in the country.
The company, which currently exports to 96 markets worldwide, is also looking to expand its footprint to some of the other smaller countries.
HMIL had achieved a cumulative sales growth of 57.5 per cent for August 2008 which it hopes to continue for this month as well.
