Dozen injured in communal clash in Bundi
Jaipur, Sep 10 (UNI) About a dozen people were injured in a violent clash between groups of two different communities in Jamitpura area in Talera town on the outskirts of Bundi in Rajasthan, police sources said.
According to the sources, a minor tiff among some children took an ugly turn with elders joining in. The warring groups pelted stones, used batons and sharp-edged weapons.
Later, the situation was controlled when police dispersed them.
While six injured were admitted to a government hospital at Talera, four to five people were referred to the M B S Hospital, Kota, the sources added.
Tension mounted as most of the shops and business establishments in Talera were closed after the incident.
However, police said the situation was now peaceful.
