Two sisters drowned in pond in Amreli dist

Rajkot, Sep 9 (UNI) Two minor sisters were drowned in a pond while bathing at Kadiyali village in Rajula taluka of Amreli district, here yesterday.

According to police, the incident took place last evening when Daya Baraya (11) and her sister Kanta (10) had gone to take bath. While bathing, they were slipped in to deep water and drowned.

Later, the bodies of duo fished out from the pond and sent them for the postmortem at Rajula government Hospital, the police said.
