Real estate company owner arrested for duping thousands of investors
New Delhi, Sep 9 (UNI) A long trail spanning over years finally led to the police arresting a Delhi builder, a Chartered Accountant involved in duping thousands of investors and carrying a Rs 50,000 reward on his head, from Mumbai.
D K Agarwal (47), director of a real estate company by the name of M/S Laxmi Vatika Ltd at Barakhamba in Connaught Place, was arrested by sleuths of the Anti-Extortion Cell from a restaurant in Lokhandwala in Mumbai, police said today.
He has 13 criminal cases of cheating and forgery against him and was arrested by the Crime Branch in 2004.
