Rahul Gandhi lands at Bagdogra on way to Bihar

Siliguri, Sep 9 (UNI) AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi landed in a private jet from New Delhi at the Bagdogra airport near here this morning on his way to flood-ravaged Bihar.

Accompanied by district officials he proceeded by road to Purnia in north Bihar to visit the flood-affected people.

Mr Gandhi is on a two-day visit to Bihar.

He is also expected to distribute relief materials among the victims of the catastrophic flood.
