Police arrest revenue employee for taking bribe

Banka, Sep 9 (UNI) A team of Bihar police led by district police superintendent Ramnaresh Singh caught red-handed a revenue employee of Katoria block for taking bribe.

Police said acting on a tip off the sleuths of Bihar police arrested one Purnendu Kumar Sinha for taking bribe of Rs.59,500 from a party on mutation of land purpose.

Raids were also conducted at the employee's house to recover illegally earned wealth, said the police.
