BJP to collect donations, relief material for flood victims

Panaji, Sep 9 (UNI) BJP activists in Goa will go from door to door to collect donations and relief material for the Bihar flood victims from September 14-30.

Disclosing this to mediapersons here today, the Party state unit president MP Shripad Naik said the Party would soon open a bank account for the purpose.

The Party MLAs, MPs and office bearers in the state have also decided to donate one month salary in aid of the flood victims, Mr Naik said.

The situation was grim in North Bihar and needed relief on a war footing, he added.
