Bank secretary held for siphoning money

Pratapgarh, Sep 9 (UNI) Urban bank's former secretary Kamla Kant Tiwari, who was at large after being accused of a fund misappropriation case, was arrested here today.

Two-month-ago, urban bank's assistant registrar had lodged a complaint against Tiwari in Nagar Kotwali allegedly for siphoning of over Rs one crore from the bank.

Later, the secretary was suspended from the post after which he was absconding, police said.
