Youth commits suicide at Metro station

Kolkata, Sep 8 (UNI) A 22-year-old youth committed suicide by jumping in front of a speeding train at the Central station of Metro railway here this afternoon.

Police said the youth committed suicide at around 1400 hours.

Train movement was disrupted for a few hours following the incident.

The body has been sent for post-mortem, police said.

The reason of the suicide was yet to be ascertained, police said, adding that the matter was being investigated.
